Sell Your iPhone 17e
We pay up to £378, paid the same day.
A cracked iPhone 17e can still be sold to mendmyi. We inspect the device as it arrives, buy both the 256GB and 512GB variants, and hold the confirmed offer for 14 days. Before the iPhone 17e leaves you, sign out of your Apple Account and disable Find My.

Calculating your price
Answer the questions above for a firm price
Tell us the storage and condition to sell this phone.
Confirm the checks to sell this phone
Combined rating across Google, Trustpilot and Facebook reviews.
Paid the same day
Cash or bank transfer as soon as your device is checked, not store credit.
Price held 14 days
Once we send your offer it will not drop, so you have time to decide.
We repair, so faulty still pays
Cracked screen or worn battery is a job on our bench, not a write-off.
Not the iPhone 17e storage or condition you were looking for?
We buy a lot more than we list here. Older iPhones, Samsung and Pixel handsets, iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks and games consoles all get a real offer, and a cracked or faulty device is still worth something to us because we repair them in house. Tell us what you have and we will come back with a firm price.
No obligation, and nothing to pay. We will not give you a number we cannot honour, so if we need to see it first we will say so.
Three steps
How selling your iPhone 17e works
No haggling, no waiting on a callback, and no offer that quietly drops when you arrive.
Get your price
Pick your iPhone 17e storage and condition above and the price we pay appears straight away, no waiting for a callback.
Get it to us, three ways
Walk into the shop, book a free collection from your door within 5 miles, or post it free from anywhere in mainland UK.
Paid the same day
Accept the offer and you are paid there and then, cash or bank transfer, never store credit.
Your price
What your iPhone 17e is worth depends on
Storage
Bigger storage means a better price. Tell the finder above which iPhone 17e you have and it prices that exact variant.
We buy the iPhone 17e with 256GB and 512GB of storage. Choose the right capacity on the quote request, because the storage tier is part of how we value what you send.
Screen condition
A cracked screen does not drop you to a faulty price. You keep the condition the phone is otherwise in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace, because we replace them ourselves.
A cracked iPhone 17e can still be sold to mendmyi. We inspect whatever state the handset arrives in and confirm our offer after that inspection, so describe any damage truthfully when you request a quote.
Body and connector
Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
Once we have inspected the iPhone 17e and confirmed our offer, that figure stays valid for 14 days. You do not have to make an instant decision.
Selling does not have to mean a trip to Haverhill. The iPhone 17e can be booked for a free collection, handed in at Haverhill or posted to us, and the offer is the same whichever route you choose.
Battery health
Our cut off is 90 per cent, so at or above that there is no deduction at all. Below it we take off what a genuine replacement costs us rather than calling the iPhone 17e faulty. Apple's own 80 per cent mark is a repair threshold, not a resale one.
A battery that is past its best is noted in the condition rather than a reason to refuse. If your iPhone 17e is not holding charge as it used to, include that in the description and we will grade it accordingly.
Whether it powers on
A device that boots and passes our checks is worth more than one that does not, but a dead handset is still worth telling us about rather than binning.
iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy your iPhone 17e once it is signed out of iCloud, with Find My switched off.
Before the handset leaves you, sign out of your Apple Account and turn off Find My. If either stays active, the iPhone 17e remains linked to you and cannot be tested or handed on.
Original parts matter to the price: an aftermarket screen, battery or camera fitted by someone else changes what we can pay. If you are not sure what is in your iPhone 17e, our guide on how to check a refurbished phone walks through what to look for.
Five minutes
Before you sell: five minutes that protect you
Do these before you hand the device over and the sale goes through without a hitch.
-
1.Back up what you want to keep
Photos, contacts and anything else you would not want to lose. If an upgrade is replacing it, here is our guide to moving everything to your new phone.
-
2.Sign out of iCloud or your Google account
Turn off Find My before you hand over the iPhone 17e. A device still signed in cannot be bought from you.
-
3.Take out the SIM and any memory card
These are yours to keep and are not part of the sale.
-
4.Note down the IMEI
Dial *#06# or check Settings to find it, in case you want a record for your own files.

No surprises
Ownership, ID and your data
Three things worth knowing before you sell anything to anyone, not just to us.
The device has to be yours to sell
We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.
"This device is not under contract or finance, is not part of an insurance claim, and has not been reported lost or stolen - I own it outright."
We record name, address and ID on every purchase
We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.
It protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one. A photocard driving licence showing your current address covers both documents on its own.
GOV.UK: VAT margin schemes, section 6.2Your data is wiped at our shop
Once your device is checked in, it is fully wiped and factory reset at our shop before it goes anywhere else. Nothing of yours is left behind on it.
Locked in
Your price is held for 14 days
Once we send you an offer for your iPhone 17e, it is held for 14 days. That gives you time to compare us against the online recyclers before deciding, without the price moving under you.

Selling your iPhone 17e
Must I sign out of my Apple Account and switch off Find My on my iPhone 17e before I sell it?
Yes, you must. An iPhone 17e that still has your Apple Account active or Find My switched on cannot be tested or transferred. Sign out and disable both before the device leaves you.
Can I post my iPhone 17e and still get the same offer as someone who visits Haverhill?
Yes. Posting is one of three equal routes: a free collection, the Haverhill counter or the post. Whichever you choose, the offer for your iPhone 17e is exactly the same.
When my iPhone 17e reaches you by post, what identification is needed and when is the payment sent?
Photo ID and proof of address are required on every purchase, with no exceptions. Payment is sent the same day those details are confirmed, whether your iPhone 17e arrives by post, collection or the Haverhill counter.
If my iPhone 17e is damaged, should I repair it rather than sell it?
It depends on the fault. mendmyi repairs handsets as well as buying them, so you can weigh repair for your iPhone 17e without being pushed towards either option.
Once mendmyi has inspected my iPhone 17e, how long is the confirmed offer held?
Fourteen days from the point we inspect your iPhone 17e and confirm the offer. You have a fortnight to accept without the figure changing.
When my iPhone 17e arrives, will mendmyi try to negotiate the quoted amount down?
No. We only check that your iPhone 17e matches the condition you described. If it does, the amount shown is what you receive; there is no negotiation after arrival.
