Sell Your iPhone 16 Pro

We pay up to £576, paid the same day.

We buy the iPhone 16 Pro in any condition, including handsets with a cracked screen or a worn battery. Damage is graded rather than refused, and every handset is inspected so the offer reflects condition, functionality and completeness. The price we confirm after that inspection is held for 14 days, and a free collection, posting it in or dropping it at our Haverhill counter all pay the same.

Not sure whether a part is original? How to check a refurbished phone

Before you sell

We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.

We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.

★★★★★ 4.9 from 763 reviews

Combined rating across Google, Trustpilot and Facebook reviews.

Paid the same day

Cash or bank transfer as soon as your device is checked, not store credit.

Price held 14 days

Once we send your offer it will not drop, so you have time to decide.

We repair, so faulty still pays

Cracked screen or worn battery is a job on our bench, not a write-off.

Not the iPhone 16 Pro storage or condition you were looking for?

We buy a lot more than we list here. Older iPhones, Samsung and Pixel handsets, iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks and games consoles all get a real offer, and a cracked or faulty device is still worth something to us because we repair them in house. Tell us what you have and we will come back with a firm price.

No obligation, and nothing to pay. We will not give you a number we cannot honour, so if we need to see it first we will say so.

Three steps

How selling your iPhone 16 Pro works

No haggling, no waiting on a callback, and no offer that quietly drops when you arrive.

Get your price

Pick your iPhone 16 Pro storage and condition above and the price we pay appears straight away, no waiting for a callback.

Get it to us, three ways

Walk into the shop, book a free collection from your door within 5 miles, or post it free from anywhere in mainland UK.

Paid the same day

Accept the offer and you are paid there and then, cash or bank transfer, never store credit.

How selling your phone works, start to finish →

Your price

What your iPhone 16 Pro is worth depends on

Storage

Bigger storage means a better price. Tell the finder above which iPhone 16 Pro you have and it prices that exact variant.

We buy the iPhone 16 Pro in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1024GB storage sizes, so choose the right capacity when you request your quote. The storage tier affects the figure we can offer, and you can check yours on the handset before you begin.

Screen condition

A cracked screen does not drop you to a faulty price. You keep the condition the phone is otherwise in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace, because we replace them ourselves.

A cracked screen will not stop us buying your iPhone 16 Pro. Physical damage is noted during the inspection and graded into the offer, so send the handset in even if it has taken a knock rather than writing it off.

Body and connector

Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.

There are three ways to get your iPhone 16 Pro to us: arrange a free collection, post it in, or drop it off at our Haverhill shop counter. The offer is the same on every route, so you can choose purely on what suits you.

Once we have inspected your iPhone 16 Pro and confirmed the offer, the figure stays valid for 14 days. That gives you a clear window to decide, and the amount will not change during it.

Battery health

Our cut off is 90 per cent, so at or above that there is no deduction at all. Below it we take off what a genuine replacement costs us rather than calling the iPhone 16 Pro faulty. Apple's own 80 per cent mark is a repair threshold, not a resale one.

Your iPhone 16 Pro is checked to see that it powers on and holds its charge as part of our inspection. If the battery is worn, that is reflected in the grading and not treated as a reason to refuse the handset, so the phone can be sold with the battery as it is.

Whether it powers on

A device that boots and passes our checks is worth more than one that does not, but a dead handset is still worth telling us about rather than binning.

iCloud or Google account lock

We can only buy your iPhone 16 Pro once it is signed out of iCloud, with Find My switched off.

Sign out of your Apple Account and turn off Find My before the iPhone 16 Pro leaves you. A handset that still carries your Apple Account is not ready for testing and transfer, so clearing it first keeps the sale moving when the phone reaches us.

Original parts matter to the price: an aftermarket screen, battery or camera fitted by someone else changes what we can pay. If you are not sure what is in your iPhone 16 Pro, our guide on how to check a refurbished phone walks through what to look for.

Five minutes

Before you sell: five minutes that protect you

Do these before you hand the device over and the sale goes through without a hitch.

  • 1.Back up what you want to keep

Photos, contacts and anything else you would not want to lose. If an upgrade is replacing it, here is our guide to moving everything to your new phone.

  • 2.Sign out of iCloud or your Google account

Turn off Find My before you hand over the iPhone 16 Pro. A device still signed in cannot be bought from you.

  • 3.Take out the SIM and any memory card

These are yours to keep and are not part of the sale.

  • 4.Note down the IMEI

Dial *#06# or check Settings to find it, in case you want a record for your own files.

No surprises

Ownership, ID and your data

Three things worth knowing before you sell anything to anyone, not just to us.

The device has to be yours to sell

We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.

"This device is not under contract or finance, is not part of an insurance claim, and has not been reported lost or stolen - I own it outright."

We record name, address and ID on every purchase

We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.

It protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one. A photocard driving licence showing your current address covers both documents on its own.

GOV.UK: VAT margin schemes, section 6.2

Your data is wiped at our shop

Once your device is checked in, it is fully wiped and factory reset at our shop before it goes anywhere else. Nothing of yours is left behind on it.

Locked in

Your price is held for 14 days

Once we send you an offer for your iPhone 16 Pro, it is held for 14 days. That gives you time to compare us against the online recyclers before deciding, without the price moving under you.

“Popped in to see if worth fixing my mobile. Was very helpful in weighing up if it was worth it or not. As it wasn’t, I just enquired if he had a phone I was looking for. Turned out although they wouldn’t normally of had one, as new out. He did as someone else wanted to change to a larger version. So with in a few hours I had a new phone, which saved me £200 and stopped me wasting any further money on my old phone. Very helpful and informative. Switched cable for one suitable for my set up and put a screen cover on for me at no charge. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.”

“I’m genuinely impressed with the service I received. My phone suffered water damage and completely stopped displaying anything, so I thought my data was gone for good. Thankfully, the team managed to recover everything — photos, contacts, messages, the lot. They were professional, quick, and kept me updated throughout the process. What felt like a disaster turned into a huge relief thanks to their skill and care. If you’re dealing with a water‑damaged device and worried about your data, I can honestly say you’re in safe hands here. Highly recommended.”

Selling your iPhone 16 Pro

My iPhone 16 Pro has a cracked screen and the battery dies quickly now. Is there any point sending it in to you?

Yes, there is every point. A cracked screen and a worn battery are both recorded when we inspect the iPhone 16 Pro, and each one simply moves the handset down the condition grading rather than ruling it out, so you still get an offer for selling it.

My iPhone 16 Pro has been signed into my Apple Account since day one. What do you need me to switch off before it goes to you?

You need to sign out of your Apple Account and turn off Find My before the iPhone 16 Pro goes anywhere. Once the handset is free of your account it can be tested and passed on without delay, so doing this first avoids any hold-up when your sale is processed.

If I post my iPhone 16 Pro instead of taking you up on the free collection, is the offer any different?

No, the offer is exactly the same. Whether the iPhone 16 Pro is posted in, collected free of charge or handed over at our Haverhill shop counter, the figure we pay stays the same, so pick whichever route suits you.

When is the money for my iPhone 16 Pro released, and what identification do you need from me first?

The money is released the same day your photo ID and proof of address are confirmed. Those two checks apply to every purchase without exception, and the route the iPhone 16 Pro arrives by does not change the timing.

My iPhone 16 Pro is damaged and I am weighing up whether to repair it or sell it. What would you suggest?

It genuinely depends on whether you want to keep the iPhone 16 Pro in use or let it go, and mendmyi is set up for both, because we repair handsets as well as buying them. If a repair does not appeal, selling the damaged handset to us is a straightforward alternative, and the offer reflects the condition we find.

How long does an offer on my iPhone 16 Pro stay open after you have checked it?

An offer stays open for 14 days once it is confirmed after our inspection of the handset. Within that fortnight the figure on your iPhone 16 Pro will not change, so you can take your time deciding before accepting.
