Screen condition
A cracked screen does not drop you to a faulty price. You keep the condition the phone is otherwise in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace, because we replace them ourselves.
We accept iPhone 14 handsets with cracked screens, body damage and other signs of wear. Damage affects the condition grade we assign rather than excluding the phone from sale, so be accurate about it when requesting the quote and the confirmed offer will not surprise you.
Body and connector
Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
Once your iPhone 14 has been inspected and the offer confirmed, that figure is held for 14 days. There is no need to accept on the spot and no negotiation afterwards, so the amount you agree to is the amount you receive.

Battery health

iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy your iPhone 14 once it is signed out of iCloud, with Find My switched off.
Please disable Find My and sign out of the Apple Account linked to your iPhone 14 before it is collected or posted. A handset still tied to an account cannot be passed on, so the sale will stall until that is resolved. Doing this before you arrange anything keeps the process moving.

The device has to be yours to sell
We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.

We record name, address and ID on every purchase
We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.
It protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one. A photocard driving licence showing your current address covers both documents on its own.
