Screen condition
A cracked screen is a separate tick box rather than a condition of its own, so you keep the condition your phone is actually in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace.
A cracked iPhone 14 screen is one of the repairs we do most often on our bench, so we price it as a repair job rather than writing the phone off the way a scrap buyer would.
Body and connector
Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
The iPhone 14 kept the Lightning port rather than moving to USB-C like the 15, so cables and accessories from older iPhones still work with it, which buyers often ask us about.
The iPhone 14 runs the same A15 Bionic chip that powered the iPhone 13 Pro the year before it, which keeps it capable enough that we see plenty come through as trade ins rather than write offs.

Your data is wiped at our workshop
Once your device is checked in, it is fully wiped and factory reset at our workshop before it goes anywhere else. Nothing of yours is left behind on it.

Do you buy a cracked iPhone 14?

Does the Lightning port matter for resale?
