What your Pixel 9 is worth depends on
We buy the Pixel 9 in 128GB and 256GB over USB-C, with the figure on screen once you set capacity and condition, paid the same day. Battery condition is checked in person on the bench, not ticked online. A crack rules out Excellent and Good, so email us and we cost the panel at our own price.
Storage
Bigger storage means a better price. Tell the finder above which Pixel 9 you have and it prices that exact variant.
Screen condition
A cracked screen does not drop you to a faulty price. You keep the condition the phone is otherwise in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace, because we replace them ourselves.
Signing a Pixel 9 out is not just removing the Google account. Android Factory Reset Protection can stay active for up to 72 hours after the account is removed, so the reset is only proven done once the phone boots straight to the Welcome screen with no request for your old login.
Body and connector
Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
Google has committed to seven years of OS and security updates for the Pixel 9 from its launch date, out to around 2031. That is a long support runway still sitting ahead of it, which is part of what keeps a well kept Pixel 9 worth buying rather than recycling only for parts.
A Pixel 9 bought on a UK contract can still be network locked to that carrier. Unlocking policies and fees differ between EE, O2, Vodafone and Three, and being unlocked is separate from any outstanding finance, so a handset still being paid off is not one we can buy as a straightforward cash purchase.
Battery health
We check battery condition ourselves on the bench rather than asking you to self-report a figure online, since there is no single on-device reading we can rely on for every brand. A genuinely worn cell comes off at what a real replacement costs us, worked out once we have the Pixel 9 in front of us.
A Pixel 9 does not ask you to self-report a battery percentage on this page the way an iPhone does. Android does not give every handset the same on-device figure to check first, so battery condition on a Pixel 9 is something we work out ourselves when we test the phone, not something you tick before sending it in.
Whether it powers on
A device that boots and passes our checks is worth more than one that does not, but a dead handset is still worth telling us about rather than binning.
iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy a Pixel 9 that is signed out of iCloud or your Google account, with Find My switched off.

Your data is wiped at our shop
Once your device is checked in, it is fully wiped and factory reset at our shop before it goes anywhere else. Nothing of yours is left behind on it.

Do you buy a cracked Google Pixel 9?
Yes, though not through the price picker here, where a crack rules out Excellent and Good and only leaves Faulty, which undersells a phone that is otherwise fine. Use Email me this price or bring it into Haverhill and we cost the screen at what fitting one costs us instead.
How is battery condition worked out on a Google Pixel 9?
There is no percentage to self-report for this one. Android does not give you the same on-device figure to check before selling that an iPhone does, so we look at battery condition ourselves when the phone is on the bench, as part of the same test as everything else.
What should I do before selling a Google Pixel 9?
Remove the Google account from Settings, turn off Find My Device, then factory reset it. Android Factory Reset Protection can hang around for up to 72 hours afterwards, so the reset has not properly taken until the phone boots to the Welcome screen without asking for your old login.
Can a Pixel 9 be sold if it is still on a network contract?
It depends on whether it is unlocked and whether it is paid off, and those are two different questions. EE, O2, Vodafone and Three each have their own unlocking rules, and even an unlocked handset can still be owed on, which is what decides whether we can buy it outright.
What ID do you need and when do I get paid for a Google Pixel 9?
Photo ID and proof of address on every second hand purchase, checked against the phone in front of us. Once that is done you are paid the same day, whether that is in the shop, by collection or by post.
