Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
The condition of your Pixel 10 defines the grade it gets, and we look at cosmetic wear, how well it functions and what comes with it. A handset that shows its age is still saleable; it just sits in a lower band, so do not rule out selling yours because it is not mint.

We need the Pixel 10 to power on for testing, and battery health is considered inside the overall condition grade. If the battery has faded, that moves the handset down a band rather than adding a separate issue on top.

A device that boots and passes our checks is worth more than one that does not, but a dead handset is still worth telling us about rather than binning.
iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy your Pixel 10 once it is signed out of your Google account, which is what clears Factory Reset Protection.
A Pixel 10 that still has an active Google account cannot be purchased until the account and Factory Reset Protection are removed. Sign out of the account, clear any screen lock and reset the handset before sending, as locked devices will hold up your sale.

The device has to be yours to sell
We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.

We record name, address and ID on every purchase
We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.
It protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one. A photocard driving licence showing your current address covers both documents on its own.

Should I remove my Google account from my Pixel 10 before the courier collects it?
Yes, a Pixel 10 that is still signed into a Google account cannot be sold until the account and Factory Reset Protection are cleared. Sign out, remove the screen lock and restore the phone to factory settings before it leaves your hands, and the sale will flow far more smoothly.
Does posting my Pixel 10 rather than choosing the free collection change the offer I get?
