Cracked screens and worn batteries are assessed as part of the Pixel 10's condition, not added deductions. The quote you see is the quote we pay, so there is no renegotiation on arrival. We buy the 128GB and 256GB versions.

We accept the 128GB and 256GB versions of the Pixel 10. When you request a quote, select the storage that matches your handset so the offer we make reflects the version you are actually sending.
Screen condition
A cracked screen does not drop you to a faulty price. You keep the condition the phone is otherwise in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace, because we replace them ourselves.
Before you send your Pixel 10, sign out of your Google account and remove any screen lock or Factory Reset Protection. If it arrives still locked to an account, we cannot process the sale until it has been cleared, so taking a minute beforehand avoids a delay.
Body and connector
Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
You choose how to send it: book a free collection, drop it in at our Haverhill shop counter or post it. The quote is the same regardless of route, and once your photo ID and proof of address are confirmed, payment goes out the same day.
Battery health
We check battery condition ourselves on the bench rather than asking you to self-report a figure online, since there is no single on-device reading we can rely on for every brand. A genuinely worn cell comes off at what a real replacement costs us, worked out once we have the Pixel 10 in front of us.
If the glass is cracked or the battery no longer holds a full charge, the sale still goes ahead. Both issues are folded into the overall condition grade we give your Pixel 10, so neither one is treated as a separate deduction from the quote we show you.
Whether it powers on
A device that boots and passes our checks is worth more than one that does not, but a dead handset is still worth telling us about rather than binning.
iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy a Pixel 10 that is signed out of iCloud or your Google account, with Find My switched off.

Three things worth knowing before you sell anything to anyone, not just to us.
The device has to be yours to sell
We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.

We record name, address and ID on every purchase
We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.
It protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one. A photocard driving licence showing your current address covers both documents on its own.

Once your device is checked in, it is fully wiped and factory reset at our shop before it goes anywhere else. Nothing of yours is left behind on it.

Is the quote I get for my Pixel 10 an opening position you will negotiate when it arrives?
No. The quote we show you is the amount we pay, so it is not an opening position and is not renegotiated on arrival.
My Pixel 10 has a cracked screen and the battery is past its best. Is that still sellable?
Yes. Both the cracked screen and the worn battery are folded into the condition grade we give the handset, rather than being deducted one on top of the other.
What happens if I send my Pixel 10 without removing my Google account and Factory Reset Protection?
The sale cannot progress until the Google account and Factory Reset Protection are removed, so clear both before you send the handset.
Will my Pixel 10 offer be different if I choose free collection instead of posting it myself?
No. The free collection, the Haverhill shop counter and posting in all result in the same quote, so you can use whichever suits you.
Will my Pixel 10 payment go out on the same day my details are confirmed?
Yes. Once your photo ID and proof of address are confirmed, payment goes out the same day, regardless of how the Pixel 10 reached us.
