What your Pixel 8 is worth depends on
We buy the Pixel 8 in 128GB and 256GB over USB-C. Battery condition is checked on our bench, not self-reported, and a genuine replacement comes off at cost if it is worn. Excellent and Good rule out cracks, so a broken screen goes by email at our own glass cost instead.
Storage
Bigger storage means a better price. Tell the finder above which Pixel 8 you have and it prices that exact variant.
Screen condition
A cracked screen does not drop you to a faulty price. You keep the condition the phone is otherwise in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace, because we replace them ourselves.
Pixel 8 screens are still a regular job on our bench, so a cracked one is worth genuinely more to us than to a recycler who would only strip it for parts. Use "Email me this price" and we cost the panel at what fitting one costs us.
Before you sell a Pixel 8, remove the Google account from it in Settings, switch off Find My Device, then run a factory reset. Google can hold Factory Reset Protection active for up to 72 hours after the account comes off, so a reset is only proven done once the phone boots straight to the Android welcome screen with no request for your old sign in.
Body and connector
Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
The Pixel 8 was the first Pixel Google promised seven years of both operating system and security updates to, running through to October 2030. A handset with that much runway left in it is genuinely worth selling on to us rather than leaving in a drawer.
Battery health
We check battery condition ourselves on the bench rather than asking you to self-report a figure online, since there is no single on-device reading we can rely on for every brand. A genuinely worn cell comes off at what a real replacement costs us, worked out once we have the Pixel 8 in front of us.
A Pixel 8 does not carry a battery percentage question on this page. Android gives no single on-device figure a seller can check the way an iPhone does, so battery condition is something we work out ourselves once the phone is on the bench in front of us, rather than something you tick before sending it in.
Whether it powers on
A device that boots and passes our checks is worth more than one that does not, but a dead handset is still worth telling us about rather than binning.
iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy a Pixel 8 that is signed out of iCloud or your Google account, with Find My switched off.

The device has to be yours outright
We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner.

Like any legitimate device buyer, we record photo ID and proof of address that match, to keep every purchase traceable to a genuine sale.
It is standard practice for any second-hand device buyer, and it protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one.
Your data is wiped at our shop
Once your device is checked in, it is fully wiped and factory reset at our shop before it goes anywhere else. Nothing of yours is left behind on it.

Once we send you an offer for your Pixel 8, it is held for 14 days. That gives you time to compare us against the online recyclers before deciding, without the price moving under you.

Do you buy a cracked Pixel 8?

How does battery condition affect the price of a Pixel 8?
We check it ourselves on the bench rather than asking you to self-report a percentage, since Android gives no single on-device figure to check the way an iPhone does. If the cell is genuinely worn, what comes off is our own cost for a genuine replacement, agreed with the phone in front of us.
Does USB-C charging affect what you pay?
No, it just means the cable and plug already sold with plenty of other phones will still work with it. The price we pay is set by storage and condition, not the connector.
What should I do before selling my Pixel 8?

Is a network locked or unpaid Pixel 8 a problem?
