iPhone 18 Pro repairs, from release day
Apple confirmed the iPhone 18 Pro on 9 September 2026. Pre-orders opened on the 12th and the handset reaches customers on 18 September, and we will be booking repairs in from that day. It carries a 6.3-inch OLED display at 2622 by 1206 pixels, the A20 Pro chip, and storage from 256GB up to a new 2TB tier, in black, silver, glacier and burgundy.
The pricing table below is still today's iPhone 17 Pro rate. That is not us being coy about a phone we now have full specifications for: a spec sheet does not tell us what a replacement display costs, and nobody outside Apple has bought an 18 Pro screen yet. The figures move to genuine 18 Pro pricing once real parts costs exist.

Identifying an iPhone 18 Pro
The 18 Pro ships under model numbers A3472, A3713, A3714 and A3715 depending on the region it was sold in, and reports itself internally as iPhone19,2. You will find the model number in Settings, under General then About. It is worth checking before you book, because the 18 Pro and the 18 Pro Max are easy to confuse by eye and they take different parts.
What we expect to repair
Screen replacement, battery swaps, charging port faults, camera and button repairs, and liquid damage assessment make up most of our iPhone workload year after year, and there is nothing in the 18 Pro's design that suggests a different mix. Genuine parts and Face ID
A screen or battery repair does not touch the Face ID sensor, which sits in its own module separate from the display and battery, so a routine repair leaves Face ID working exactly as it did before. Where a component on newer iPhones is part-paired to the handset, an uncalibrated replacement can trigger an "Unknown Part" note in Settings rather than any loss of function, which is why every screen we fit on the iPhone 18 Pro at launch is an original part.
Why the 18 Pro launches with one screen option
Third-party screen makers need a real handset in their hands before they can copy its display, so a tested, lower-cost panel for a brand new iPhone simply does not exist on day one; it takes months of reverse-engineering after release before anyone produces one worth trusting. That is why the only screen we will be fitting to the iPhone 18 Pro at launch is an original-quality part, and we will bring in a properly tested cheaper alternative the moment one earns a place on this page.

Can you repair the iPhone 18 Pro from release day?
Yes. There is no waiting period on our side; the only limit was the handset existing, and from 18 September it does. We would rather be honest that the first few units teach us things a spec sheet cannot, so we will flag it if an early job takes longer than our usual turnaround.
How much does an iPhone 18 Pro screen repair cost?
The figure on this page is currently the iPhone 17 Pro screen repair price. Apple announcing the handset told us its specifications, not what its display costs to buy, and no replacement panels have reached the independent market yet. The price updates to a real 18 Pro figure once parts costs are known, and whatever you are quoted when you book is what you pay.
What model number is the iPhone 18 Pro?
A3472, A3713, A3714 or A3715, depending on where it was sold, and it identifies itself internally as iPhone19,2. Settings, then General, then About will show you which one you have. Worth checking, because the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max look similar and do not share parts.
Will an iPhone 18 Pro repair affect Face ID?
No. Face ID uses its own sensor module, separate from the screen and battery, so a standard screen or battery repair leaves it working as normal. We cannot yet say how Apple part-pairs every component on the 18 Pro, but Face ID itself is not something a repair switches off.
Why is there only one screen option for the iPhone 18 Pro?
Because no independently made screen exists yet. Aftermarket manufacturers only start producing panels once a phone has been on sale long enough to study, so at release the only option we can stand behind is an original-quality screen. A cheaper tier joins this page once one has actually been tested.
Does the 12-month warranty cover iPhone 18 Pro repairs?
