iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy your Galaxy Z Flip once it is signed out of your Google account, which is what clears Factory Reset Protection.
Sort the software locks out before the Z Flip leaves you. Sign out of your Google account and remove any screen lock, because a phone that still carries either cannot be freed from its owner's protection, and no payment can be completed until it is removed.

The device has to be yours to sell
We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.

We record name, address and ID on every purchase
We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.
It protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one. A photocard driving licence showing your current address covers both documents on its own.

No, the amount quoted is the amount you are paid and it is not reduced on arrival. It is not an opening position, so as long as the Z Flip arrives in the condition you selected, the figure stays the same.
If I sell my Z Flip with a cracked screen and a battery that drains quickly, will you still take it?
Yes, we will still take it with both faults. Cracked screens and worn batteries sit within the condition options, so pick the one that matches both and the figure you are quoted reflects the phone as it is.
If I send my Z Flip without removing my Google account, will it hold the sale up?
Yes, it will hold the sale up, because the phone cannot be released until it is free of your Google account and any screen lock. Sign out of the Google account and remove any PIN, password or biometric lock before sending, and the process moves without delay.
Is the amount I receive lower if I post my Z Flip instead of having you collect it?
No, the amount is identical whichever route you choose. You can book a free collection, drop the Z Flip at our counter in Haverhill or post it in, and none of those options changes the figure quoted.
What identification is needed before you pay me for my Z Flip, and when is the payment sent out?
