Sell Your iPad (10th generation)
2022 · A2696, A2757, A2777, A3162
We pay up to £241, paid the same day.
The offer we make for your iPad (10th generation) depends on its condition, including cracked glass, cosmetic damage, battery wear, and whether it is the 64GB or 256GB version. Damage is not a dead end, so you can sell the tablet exactly as it is, worn battery included. Once we inspect the device, the confirmed offer is the offer we proceed with, not an opening position, and it is held for 14 days.

Calculating your price
Answer the questions above for a firm price
Tell us the storage and condition to sell this tablet.
Confirm the checks to sell this tablet
Combined rating across Google, Trustpilot and Facebook reviews.
Paid the same day
Cash or bank transfer as soon as your device is checked, not store credit.
Price held 14 days
Once we send your offer it will not drop, so you have time to decide.
We repair, so faulty still pays
Cracked screen or worn battery is a job on our bench, not a write-off.
Not the iPad (10th generation) storage or condition you were looking for?
We buy a lot more than we list here. Older iPhones, Samsung and Pixel handsets, iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks and games consoles all get a real offer, and a cracked or faulty device is still worth something to us because we repair them in house. Tell us what you have and we will come back with a firm price.
No obligation, and nothing to pay. We will not give you a number we cannot honour, so if we need to see it first we will say so.
Three steps
How selling your iPad (10th generation) works
No haggling, no waiting on a callback, and no offer that quietly drops when you arrive.
Get your price
Pick your iPad (10th generation) storage and condition above and the price we pay appears straight away, no waiting for a callback.
Get it to us, three ways
Walk into the shop, book a free collection from your door within 5 miles, or post it free from anywhere in mainland UK.
Paid the same day
Accept the offer and you are paid there and then, cash or bank transfer, never store credit.
Your price
What your iPad (10th generation) is worth depends on
Storage
Bigger storage means a better price. Tell the finder above which iPad (10th generation) you have and it prices that exact variant.
We buy the 64GB and 256GB versions of the iPad (10th generation), so select the exact capacity of your own tablet when asking for a quote. The storage size is part of how the offer is worked out, and getting it right from the start keeps the process accurate.
Screen condition
A cracked screen does not drop you to a faulty price. You keep the condition the phone is otherwise in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace, because we replace them ourselves.
Body and connector
Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
You can send the iPad (10th generation) to us by booking a free collection, dropping it at our Haverhill shop counter or posting it in. Whichever route you choose, the basis of the offer is unchanged, and once we inspect the tablet the confirmed offer is held for 14 days.
Battery health
Our cut off is 90 per cent, so at or above that there is no deduction at all. Below it we take off what a genuine replacement costs us rather than calling the iPad (10th generation) faulty. Apple's own 80 per cent mark is a repair threshold, not a resale one.
Start by running through the physical state of the iPad (10th generation). Cracked glass, scuffs and a battery that has lost its staying power are all considered at inspection, and there is no need to make the tablet look brand new first.
Be straight about the battery when you request your quote. Battery performance is one of the factors in the condition assessment, so a tablet that drains quickly should be described as such from the outset. That way the offer confirmed after inspection is the one you can rely on.
Whether it powers on
A device that boots and passes our checks is worth more than one that does not, but a dead handset is still worth telling us about rather than binning.
iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy your iPad (10th generation) once it is signed out of iCloud, with Find My switched off.
If the iPad (10th generation) is linked to your Apple ID, sign out of the account and switch off Find My before you send it. A tablet still tied to an account cannot complete the sale in the usual way, so clearing that before dispatch avoids the transaction stalling.
Original parts matter to the price: an aftermarket screen, battery or camera fitted by someone else changes what we can pay. If you are not sure what is in your iPad (10th generation), our guide on how to check a refurbished phone walks through what to look for.
Five minutes
Before you sell: five minutes that protect you
Do these before you hand the device over and the sale goes through without a hitch.
-
1.Back up what you want to keep
Photos, contacts and anything else you would not want to lose. If an upgrade is replacing it, here is our guide to moving everything to your new phone.
-
2.Sign out of iCloud or your Google account
Turn off Find My before you hand over the iPad (10th generation). A device still signed in cannot be bought from you.
-
3.Take out the SIM and any memory card
These are yours to keep and are not part of the sale.
-
4.Note down the IMEI
Dial *#06# or check Settings to find it, in case you want a record for your own files.

No surprises
Ownership, ID and your data
Three things worth knowing before you sell anything to anyone, not just to us.
The device has to be yours to sell
We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.
"This device is not under contract or finance, is not part of an insurance claim, and has not been reported lost or stolen - I own it outright."
We record name, address and ID on every purchase
We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.
It protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one. A photocard driving licence showing your current address covers both documents on its own.
GOV.UK: VAT margin schemes, section 6.2Your data is wiped at our shop
Once your device is checked in, it is fully wiped and factory reset at our shop before it goes anywhere else. Nothing of yours is left behind on it.
Locked in
Your price is held for 14 days
Once we send you an offer for your iPad (10th generation), it is held for 14 days. That gives you time to compare us against the online recyclers before deciding, without the price moving under you.

Selling your iPad (10th generation)
If I choose the post rather than the free collection or the Haverhill shop, will the offer for my iPad (10th generation) be any less?
No. Posting the iPad (10th generation) to us, booking the free collection and bringing it to the Haverhill shop counter are all paid on the same basis, so the route you choose will not reduce the offer.
Once my iPad (10th generation) reaches you, what do you need before payment goes out and how quickly is that done?
Payment is released the same day we confirm your photo ID and proof of address. Those two checks are required for every purchase, with no exceptions, no matter which way the iPad (10th generation) arrived.
Is it worth asking mendmyi to repair my damaged iPad (10th generation) rather than selling it as it is?
It depends on the damage and your own preferences, and it is a genuine choice because mendmyi carries out repairs as well as buying devices. Tell us what is wrong and review both routes before deciding, with no pressure towards either one.
If I am not ready to go ahead straight away, how long will the offer on my iPad (10th generation) stay open after inspection?
For 14 days. Once we inspect the iPad (10th generation) and confirm the offer, that offer remains valid for the full two weeks, giving you time to decide whether to proceed.
Once the iPad (10th generation) is with mendmyi, can the confirmed offer be reduced or does it stay fixed?
No. It will not be lowered after the iPad (10th generation) is with us. The confirmed offer is the figure mendmyi pays, not a starting point for negotiation, so nothing is taken off at arrival.
If the glass on my iPad (10th generation) is cracked and the battery no longer holds a charge, are both issues part of the same condition check?
Yes. Both issues are covered in the same condition assessment of the iPad (10th generation), and neither one is a reason for us to turn the tablet away. Describe the cracked glass and the battery honestly when requesting the quote, and the confirmed offer will reflect the true state of the device.

We collect free from towns across the area, or send a tracked postage label.
