We pay up to £444, paid the same day.
The quote for your Galaxy S24 Ultra is set by the condition you pick: cracked glass, body wear and battery deterioration all affect it, but none of them stops the sale. That figure is not an opening bid and it is not negotiated down when the phone reaches us. If the phone matches the condition you declared, the payment matches the quote.

We repair, so faulty still pays
Cracked screen or worn battery is a job on our bench, not a write-off.
Not the Galaxy S24 Ultra storage or condition you were looking for?
We buy a lot more than we list here. Older iPhones, Samsung and Pixel handsets, iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks and games consoles all get a real offer, and a cracked or faulty device is still worth something to us because we repair them in house. Tell us what you have and we will come back with a firm price.
No obligation, and nothing to pay. We will not give you a number we cannot honour, so if we need to see it first we will say so.
Three steps
How selling your Galaxy S24 Ultra works
No haggling, no waiting on a callback, and no offer that quietly drops when you arrive.
Get your price
Pick your Galaxy S24 Ultra storage and condition above and the price we pay appears straight away, no waiting for a callback.
Get it to us, three ways
Walk into the shop, book a free collection from your door within 5 miles, or post it free from anywhere in mainland UK.
Paid the same day
Accept the offer and you are paid there and then, by bank transfer, or store credit towards an upgrade or downgrade.
Your price
What your Galaxy S24 Ultra is worth depends on
Storage
Bigger storage means a better price. Tell the finder above which Galaxy S24 Ultra you have and it prices that exact variant.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra was released on 31 January 2024, and the storage versions we buy are 256GB, 512GB and 1024GB. When you request the quote, choose the storage size that matches the phone, because each capacity carries its own figure.
Screen condition
A cracked screen does not drop you to a faulty price. You keep the condition the phone is otherwise in and we simply take off what the glass costs us to replace, because we replace them ourselves.
Body and connector
Dents, scuffs and cracks to the casing are graded as part of the overall condition. A cracked back or a bent frame lowers the offer but rarely rules a device out.
The S24 Ultra measures 162.3 by 79 by 8.6 mm, so if you choose the post option, give it a well-padded box rather than a loose envelope. The goal is for it to arrive in the same condition you described when you requested the quote.
There are three ways to send the phone: book a free collection, drop it off at our Haverhill shop counter or post it in. The amount you receive is identical on all three routes, so pick the one that is easiest for you.
Battery health
We check battery condition ourselves on the bench rather than asking you to self-report a figure online, since there is no single on-device reading we can rely on for every brand. A genuinely worn cell comes off at what a real replacement costs us, worked out once we have the Galaxy S24 Ultra in front of us.
The condition of your S24 Ultra is what sets the figure. Cracked front glass, body scuffs and a faded battery are all selectable conditions, so we will buy the phone in a worn state rather than only in pristine condition.
The S24 Ultra has a 5000 mAh battery. If that battery no longer holds charge as it did when the phone was new, pick the condition option that acknowledges the battery state; the offer will reflect it accurately and the sale can still go ahead.
Whether it powers on
A device that boots and passes our checks is worth more than one that does not, but a dead handset is still worth telling us about rather than binning.
iCloud or Google account lock
We can only buy your Galaxy S24 Ultra once it is signed out of your Google account, which is what clears Factory Reset Protection.
Before the handset leaves you, sign out of your Google account and remove the PIN, password or biometric lock. That clears factory reset protection, so the S24 Ultra is no longer linked to your identity when it arrives.
Original parts matter to the price: an aftermarket screen, battery or camera fitted by someone else changes what we can pay. If you are not sure what is in your Galaxy S24 Ultra, our guide on how to check a refurbished phone walks through what to look for.
Five minutes
Before you sell: five minutes that protect you
Do these before you hand the device over and the sale goes through without a hitch.
-
1.Back up what you want to keep
Photos, contacts and anything else you would not want to lose. If an upgrade is replacing it, here is our guide to moving everything to your new phone.
-
2.Sign out of iCloud or your Google account
Turn off Find My before you hand over the Galaxy S24 Ultra. A device still signed in cannot be bought from you.
-
3.Take out the SIM and any memory card
These are yours to keep and are not part of the sale.
-
4.Note down the IMEI
Dial *#06# or check Settings to find it, in case you want a record for your own files.

No surprises
Ownership, ID and your data
Three things worth knowing before you sell anything to anyone, not just to us.
The device has to be yours to sell
We cannot buy a device that is still under contract or on finance, because until it is paid off you are not yet its legal owner. We also cannot buy a device that is part of an ongoing insurance claim, or that has been reported lost or stolen.
"This device is not under contract or finance, is not part of an insurance claim, and has not been reported lost or stolen - I own it outright."
We record name, address and ID on every purchase
We record the name and address of everyone we buy from, and check them against photo ID and proof of address. HMRC requires it: buying from a private seller, we have to raise the purchase invoice ourselves and it must carry your details. Bring the documents into the shop and show us, or send a photo if the device is reaching us another way.
It protects you as much as us: the purchase can always be traced back to a genuine sale rather than an anonymous one. A photocard driving licence showing your current address covers both documents on its own.
GOV.UK: VAT margin schemes, section 6.2Your data is wiped at our shop
Once your device is checked in, it is fully wiped and factory reset at our shop before it goes anywhere else. Nothing of yours is left behind on it.
Locked in
Your price is held for 14 days
Once we send you an offer for your Galaxy S24 Ultra, it is held for 14 days. That gives you time to compare us against the online recyclers before deciding, without the price moving under you.

Selling your Galaxy S24 Ultra
Does the amount I'm quoted for my Galaxy S24 Ultra change when you receive the phone?
No, it does not change. The amount is not an opening position and is not negotiated down on arrival, so if the phone matches the condition you selected, you receive the amount you were quoted.
If I sell my S24 Ultra with both a cracked screen and a worn battery, are those faults enough to end the sale?
No, those faults do not end the sale. Cracked glass and a worn battery are both part of the condition choices, so select the option that reflects both and the quote already accounts for them.
If I forget to remove my Google account from my S24 Ultra, will it slow the sale down?
Yes, leaving a Google account or a screen lock on the phone will slow it down. Remove the Google account and any PIN, password or biometric lock before sending it, because that clears factory reset protection and frees the phone from your account.
Does the way I send my S24 Ultra to you, by collection, counter or post, affect the amount I receive?
No, the way you send it does not affect the amount. You can book a free collection, drop the phone at our Haverhill counter or post it in, and the quote is the same for each route.
What proof do I need to provide before payment for my S24 Ultra is released, and how quickly is it paid?
Photo ID and proof of address are required for every purchase, with no exceptions. Once those are confirmed, the payment goes out the same day, whichever route the S24 Ultra arrived by.
Should I have my Galaxy S24 Ultra repaired before selling it, or will you take it as it is?
We will take it as it is, but you can also have it repaired because mendmyi carries out repairs as well as buying phones. It is a genuine choice and there is no pressure towards one option, so base the decision on what is better for you and the device.
