Overheating, shutdowns and loud fan
The most common PS5 fault we see. Dust and lint choke the fan and heatsink, and the liquid metal Sony uses between the processor and heatsink degrades and migrates over time, leaving dry spots that run hot. HDMI port (no picture)
A dropped or knocked PS5 often shears the tiny pins inside the HDMI port, leaving a black screen or 'no signal'. We micro-solder a genuine replacement port onto the board so your console outputs cleanly again.
No power / power button
If your PS5 shows no light, beeps once and dies, or will not switch on, the cause is usually the power supply or the power button board. We test both and replace the failed part.
Disc drive faults
Discs that will not load, grind or get rejected point to a worn belt, gear or laser. We repair or replace the Blu-ray drive and re-pair it to your console board.
Storage / SSD faults
Corrupt storage, database errors or a console stuck in safe mode can often be fixed without losing your games. Where the drive has failed we fit and initialise a compatible replacement.
Controller and stick drift
DualSense drift, where your character moves on its own, comes from worn analogue stick modules. We replace the stick units so the controller responds accurately again.
