Common Xbox faults we fix
HDMI port (no picture)
A knocked Xbox often loses its HDMI port, leaving a black screen. We micro-solder a genuine replacement port onto the board on both the Series and One consoles.
No power / power button
If your Xbox will not turn on, or powers off straight away, the internal power supply or power button is the usual culprit. We test and replace the failed part.
Overheating and loud fan
An Xbox that runs hot, sounds like a jet or shuts down needs its cooling serviced. We deep-clean the fan and heatsink and renew the thermal paste.
Disc drive faults
Discs that will not read or eject usually mean a worn drive. We repair or replace the disc drive and pair it to your console so games load again.
Storage / hard drive
Corrupt storage, error codes or a console stuck on boot can often be recovered. Where the drive has failed we fit a compatible replacement and reinstall the system.
Controller and stick drift
Xbox controller drift and worn bumpers are a quick fix - we replace the analogue stick modules or buttons so the pad is accurate again.
