The two are easy to confuse: the plus model is often sold and listed simply as an S24.

That is the honest answer to the question filling the search results for this phone, which is where you get a genuine S24 Ultra screen. A service pack display is the assembly Samsung supplies for repair; a refurbished original is a genuine panel rebuilt for reuse.

It is worth knowing what the alternative is. Third-party screen assemblies for the S24 Ultra are listed from about £35 to £145, checked on 7 September 2026. The cheapest are TFT LCD panels rather than the OLED this phone shipped with, and some of those listings state plainly that the fingerprint reader will not work through them. The S24 Ultra reads your fingerprint through the display itself, so the panel is not a cosmetic choice on this model.

Is it worth repairing?

On a phone this recent, usually yes. A working S24 Ultra is still worth a few hundred pounds against a trade-in, which you can check on our sell page for this model, and a screen or battery job is a fraction of replacing the handset outright. The exception is water damage, where the sensible order is to stop charging it and get it looked at quickly rather than leave it in a drawer, and the first steps after a soaking are worth reading before you do anything else.
